The Johnville Woodland Conservation Corporation (JWCC) is a non-profit organization incorporated on
August 9, 1989 under part III of the Companies Act. It is currently managed by five directors :

The main mandate of the JWCC is to manage the Johnville Bog & Forest Park. As outlined in its letters patent, its objectives are the following :
  • To promote environmental conservation and preservation;
  • To promote, protect and develop sites it may manage or acquire;
  • To educate and make the public aware of the need for environmental protection, conservation and development;
  • To promote research and development in the field of environmental protection;
  • Within the scope of environmental preservation, to develop various nature observation centres and walking trails and carry out other work to highlight various sites and increase public awareness of the environment and nature;
  • To promote the distribution of information about the Johnville Woodland.
