Educational Program

We offer
  • Educational activities that provide learning opportunities in the Science and Technology component of the Québec Education Program.
  • A fun and practical experience exploring, discovering, analyzing, and studying nature.
  • A unique outdoor laboratory in the Estrie region that features a developed peat bog.
  • Skilled group leaders.
  • Activities adapted to the school level, time available, and students' interest!
  • Class activities or field trips!
  • Craft projects, experiments, building activities, etc.

Clientele
Preschool, elementary, and high school students, as well as children in daycares, youth in Scout programs, and other organized groups.

Themes
The Johnville Bog & Forest Park's educational activities have two main topics: wildlife habitats and peat bogs. Through them, participants discover the characteristics of habitats, wildlife, vegetation, and the specific geomorphological elements of this unique protected site in the region.
